USCIS has released its third quarter EB-5 statistics as a result of the EB-5 Stakeholder Engagement Teleconference last week.
A few key points to review:
- I-526 approvals are still up from 2011 with an approval percentage of 79%, but down from the previous quarter
- I-829 approvals are down from the second quarter, with a high approval rate of 94% for the year
- 60% of the I-924 Regional Center applications and amendments processed in Q-1- Q-3 were denied
- The number of regional centers are on the rise and 35 more have been approved since 2011
