Prompted by the resounding success of the previous three installments of the EB-5 Innovation Summit, NES Financial presented an equally well-received encore addition to the series this past Tuesday, May 12, in Houston.
Once again, the panel of speakers offered attendees the benefit of their substantial EB-5 industry experience and expertise; the event featured presentations by Charles Foster and Christian Triantaphyllis of the immigration law firm Foster Global, Bruce Rosetto and Batya Goodman from the firm Greenberg Traurig, Dandan Zou, of Texas Investment Regional Center, and Patrick Harvey of Louisiana International Gulf Transfer Terminal Regional Center.
Presenters repeatedly emphasized that successful use of EB-5 requires more than just a strong project—working with the right team is critical. A key issue for EB-5 is the process needs need not disrupt normal business practices; EB-5 funds should be treated like any other investment. Throughout the day, the importance of providing EB-5 investors high levels of transparency, compliance, and reporting was a recurring theme.
Attendees still exploring use of the EB-5 program left the event stating it was one of the best events they had attended, leaving them better prepared to utilize EB-5 funding in their next capital raise. Established Regional Centers found the seminar to be a valuable opportunity not only to further develop their expertise within the industry, but also to connect with other EB-5 professionals.
We’d like to thank our speakers and those who attended the EB-5 Innovation Summit Events for helping to make this series a success.
