Expert EB-5 Panelists at Upcoming Loan Servicing Webinar

NES Financial’s upcoming webinar, Preparing for I-829 Success: Best Practices in EB-5 Loan Administration, taking place Friday, October 16th at 11 a.m. PST (2 p.m. EST), will feature presentations from EB-5 industry leaders Rupy Cheema, EB-5 Diligence; Laura Reiff, Greenberg Traurig; and Mona Shah, Mona Shah & Associates.

NES Financial Executive Vice President Reid Thomas will also moderate and present.

Rupy Cheema is the industry’s leading authority on EB-5 due diligence, having extensively reviewed the offering documents of both the largest, most prestigious EB-5 investments in the market as well as some of the smaller EB-5 offerings.

Laura Reiff represents many businesses in creating, managing, and using Regional Centers to create jobs which can give rise to EB-5 permanent residence for investment. She coordinates this work with attorneys practicing in securities law compliance, with economists identifying “targeted employment areas” and projecting indirect job creation, and with licensed securities brokers coordinating offerings. She also represents individual investors in obtaining conditional permanent residence and in removing conditions from permanent residence.

Mona Shah is highly proficient and experienced in EB-5 law and practice, with hands-on experience setting up, working with, and establishing EB-5 projects, both direct pooled investments and Regional Centers, nationwide. Mona is the author of a published book for investors on the EB-5 laws and procedures. She regularly writes and publishes articles and opinions, along with addressing investors and developers in EB-5 related seminars in the U.S. and overseas.
