Position Description

NES Financial is a global administrator for Private Equity and Real Estate funds and is enjoying a sustained period of growth across all business lines. We are looking for exceptional individuals to help drive this continued success and contribute positively to our growing market position. This fund administration position has responsibility for day-to-day accounting and reporting for Private Equity and Real Estate clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day investor services, accounting and reporting for private equity and real estate funds in accordance with the firm’s AML/KYC policies and procedures, US GAAP, client preferences and best practices
  • Prepares and reviews quarterly accounting packages, including partner allocations
  • Prepares and reviews US GAAP financial statements and partner capital statements
  • Assists external auditors during year-end audits
  • Interacts with clients on day-to-day matters as well as on ad-hoc queries
  • Represents the firm in a professional manner at all times, displaying the ethical behavior we expect in all interactions, both internal and external
  • Supports persistent review and amendment of processes and procedures
  • Participates in regular technology and information reviews, identifies potential changes and enhancements, and recommends alternatives for implementation
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

You ideally have 1-2 years of Private Equity, Real Estate and/or fund administration experience
You have a college degree (accounting, business, mathematics, finance or economics degree preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail, self-motivated and able to multi-task
Ability to timely work under pressure and/or with deadlines throughout the day
Team player and professional
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong organizational and communication skills
