Position Description

NES Financial is a global administrator for Private Equity and Real Estate funds and is enjoying a sustained period of growth across all business lines. We are looking for exceptional individuals to help drive this continued success and contribute positively to our growing market position. This position has responsibility for the day-to-day relationship and operations for Data Operations clients.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of customer success analysts who are responsible for the day-to-day data operations and verification
  • Manages internal workflow and coordinate team to meet client deadlines
  • Compiles and analyzes a high volume of statements from underlying fund GPs, including capital call notices, distribution notices and partner capital statements
  • Reviews and inputs data from the underlying GP statements and provides analytics and reporting to clients
  • Reviews general ledger activity for investor-level, fund-level, and investment-level transactions
  • Reviews daily cash activity, wire transfers and bank reconciliations
  • Reviews quarterly accounting packages, including partner allocations
  • Manages client relationships on day-to-day matters as well as on ad-hoc queries
  • Represent the firm in a professional, ethical manner at all times
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Fund Accounting experience (ideally 4+ years)
  • Understanding of valuations and cash flows for private equity and alternative investments
  • College degree highly desired (accounting, business, finance or economics degree preferred)
  • Expertise in Excel with proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
