REPORTS TO: Finance Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance Clerk position is responsible for daily posting of escrow transactions of the company for all product lines in our proprietary software. In addition, this position will be responsible for client-specific tasks and daily deposits, and bank account reconciliations.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Posting escrow transactions in our internally developed software application
– Deposit checks, manage documents and communicate with banks on daily activity for one major client
– Daily check deposits and proof of deposit
– Assist with treasury bank account reconciliations as part of the month-end close
– Support Finance team in San Jose and be able to back up other roles in case of absences

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
– 3 years’ financial services experience, including 1 or more years in a corporate accounting environment
– Associate degree in business/accounting is preferred

30 hours per week

– Knowledge and experience with bank transactions, including posting transactions, is a must
