Demand Generation Manager

Position Summary

This position will take the lead on our demand generation campaign strategies.  Responsibilities include designing multi-touch demand creation programs that leverage both inbound and outbound tactics. Plan, develop and implement marketing deliverables and demand generation programs to support our solutions.  This is an exciting opportunity to own the entire marketing lifecycle from campaign planning to sales qualification.

This person should be able to plan, orchestrate and manage large, complex campaigns and activities that may span different target audiences across SEO, lead programs, a digital marketing. This position requires metrics driven management, management skills, project management, planning and collaboration skills with limited direction and oversight.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Generate measurable revenue impact through demand generation efforts.  Develop and maintain buyer personas.

SEO –

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, and display advertising campaigns to optimize SEO results
  • Develop and execute on both the short- and long-term online marketing strategy to increase web traffic and drive conversions driven by search engines and display

Demand Generation –

  • Create best practices for marketing automation
  • Manage demand generation programs via Eloqua and Salesforce. outbound demand generation programs include email campaigns, online advertising, and SEO program, complex nurture tracks and database segmentation
  • Schedules and develops email campaigns, selecting the list based on program criteria, uploading creative and overseeing the campaign
  • Drive and improve the current lead generation methods and process through consistent iteration and improving programs through measurement and optimization and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
    • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
    • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and make recommendations to management

Social Media – 

  • Manage social media marketing channels, content, campaigns and day-to-day activities
  • Curate relevant content to reach the audience most likely to engage, work with and/or advocate on behalf of our brands
  • Plan and manage the publishing calendar, social objectives, messaging, writing posts, sourcing or creating the visual images for these posts, aligning to the overall product and marketing plan
  • Implement best practices for social listening, uploading, tagging, reporting, and optimization of channels
  • Grow engagement, reach, and impact through proactive campaigns and management
  • Analyze relevant data and produce weekly reports on recent social activity, providing insights and recommendations as needed
  • Partner with internal and external teams as needed to maximize social reach
  • Manage day-to-day reactive and proactive communications on all key social media channels

 

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 7-10 years marketing experience, 5 years of B2B demand creation programs: emails, nurture campaigns, PPL and content syndication, social media management
  • Strong writing skills
  • Track record of successful results and creativity with program execution
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive meaningful actions from large data sets
  • Experience with Eloqua marketing automation, Salesforce and excel
  • Team Player, go getter, great communication skills
  • Proven analytical abilities and problem solving skills are a must
  • Versatile attitude with ability to work in a small team

 

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • Location: Downtown San Jose
