Responsible for global sales and marketing at NES Financial, Reid brings over 20 years of sales and marketing leadership in both public and private companies in high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies. His past experience includes leading sales with Voice Over IP pioneer Sylantro Systems, driving revenue and market share growth to a successful IPO with VINA Technologies, and running sales operations at Octel Communications, which was acquired by Lucent Technologies. Prior to his current position, Reid served as SVP of Global Sales at Laszlo Systems, a global leader and pioneer in Rich Internet Applications. During his time with NES Financial, Reid has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company’s EB-5 business, making NES Financial the leader in EB-5 by providing innovative solutions specifically built for the industry. His active participation in the EB-5 community has made him a frequent and sought after speaker at events and conferences across the country, as well as a frequent contributor to various EB-5 books, articles, and other publications.

Izak has over 25 years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise software solutions. He has extensive experience in large commercial software solutions in the ERP, CRM, B2B, and EAI sectors. Prior to joining NES Financial, he was VP Engineering and Chief Architect for H Corporation where he was responsible for the overall architecture, technical design, and product strategy for all their products. Izak is well versed in several technologies including Microsoft .NET, relational database technologies including HTML, DHTML, XML, and Javascript as well as Web-services working with the latest published W3C standards. He has worked with several large organizations, including Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Cisco Systems, Intel, AMD, Flextronics, HP, and KLA Tencor.

Kelly is responsible for the management of the NES Financial legal department and has oversight of all legal matters on a day-to-day basis. She creates and implements the legal structures for NES Financial’s array of fund administration, trust, escrow, and 1031 exchange solutions. Kelly is a leading attorney with over 30 years of experience in federal income taxation and banking and fiduciary law. She brings unique capabilities to NES Financial, combining experience as a manager in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service National Office in Washington, D.C. with major law firm and Big Four accounting firm experience. Kelly also helped develop significant 1031 exchange guidance during her tenure with the IRS. She is a nationally recognized expert on all types of 1031 exchanges, including reverses, and writes and speaks frequently on these subjects. Kelly holds a J.D. degree from Harvard University and is admitted to the bars of California and Illinois.

As a sales leader, Christian has over 15 years of experience driving revenue, building world-class organizations, and establishing winning cultures. As the Senior Vice-President of Sales, he works closely with NES Financial’s clients and is responsible for revenue development and retention. Prior to NES Financial, Christian held various sales, strategic partnering, and account management leadership roles at Salesforce.com, where he led the Partner Sales Program for the Banking Sector. Christian spent time working as a sales leader at Marcus & Millichap Commercial Real Estate and was a Business Analyst at The Merchant Bank, Richmont. Christian also worked in various sales roles at Gartner and Thomson Reuters. He holds a BA from the University of New Hampshire.

With over 24 years of financial transaction administration experience, Dawn leads NES Financial’s fund administration and Client Services operations. Dawn’s background managing Client Service and cash processing / treasury teams for a line of business of JPMorgan Chase and subsequently with NES Financial, gives the company unique capabilities in high volume fund administration transaction processing. Responsible for over $85 billion of annual transaction volume, Dawn helps define internal fund administration and Client Service process automation. She is also responsible for managing ongoing Business Continuity planning and annual external SSAE 16 audits of the NES Financial operation.

With 20 years of strategic marketing experience in the financial and high-tech industry, Laura leads the marketing strategy and execution for NES Financial’s marketing. Prior to joining NES Financial, Laura spent eight years at VISA where she led marketing consulting to their top 25 financial institution clients to launch, promote, and drive sales of all VISA products. Laura has held senior marketing positions at both financial and high-tech companies, including Business Objects, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, and Pickett Communications. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Cloud State University and has an MBA from the University of Saint Thomas.

Having over 16 years of experience working in technology and marketing, Scott leads product marketing at NES Financial. Specifically, he is tasked with identifying customer and market needs and defining how NES Financial’s technology and services teams can best fulfill those requirements. Scott has spent a tremendous amount of time working directly with financial institutions and large corporate customers with complex financial process and administration requirements. Over his six years with NES Financial, he has developed in-depth expertise in business process automation, technology integration, and fund administration.

Responsible for all facets of information technology utilization at NES Financial, Lou drives IT strategy, Business Continuity, information systems, infrastructure, security, telecommunications, applications, and support. With over 20 years of IT experience, Lou’s background includes infrastructure architecture and design, ERP systems, database clustering, software design and development, virtualization technologies, project management, disaster recovery, and Business Continuity. Lou has worked effectively in both large and small company environments with companies such as Intel, Flextronics, Solectron, Extreme Networks, Palm, GE, and Bio-Rad.

Responsible for financial reporting and analysis of NES Financial and all its related entities, Kristen has over 19 years of experience in the financial services industry with companies such as JPMorgan Chase, AEW Capital Management, LP, and Price Waterhouse. A Certified Public Accountant, Kristen oversees accounting and works closely with the sales, Client Service, and legal departments on operations and client transactions. Her background features accounting roles within the trust operation of JPMorgan Chase and 6 years with the JPMorgan Chase 1031 qualified intermediary operation, JPEX. Kristen holds a BA in Economics/Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross and a Graduate Certificate in Tax from Bentley College.

Having been directly involved in over 350 EB-5 projects and as a member of the IIUSA Board of Directors, Jill brings to NES Financial extensive experience working with Regional Centers, developers, and securities law professionals. Jill is uniquely skilled at efficiently structuring subscription escrows for EB-5 development projects and is highly regarded throughout the EB-5 market sector. A licensed attorney in the state of Texas, Jill’s background includes over 10 years of title, escrow, and 1031 exchange experience.

Barry serves as President of Fernald Investments, a private real estate investment company based in northern California. He is an architect and formerly one of the owners of Devcon Construction, Inc. and Senior Partner of Martin-Devcon, a real estate development arm of Devcon, where he led Devcon’s design and development activities for office, commercial, residential, and industrial real estate in Silicon Valley. Barry was a founding investor in several Silicon Valley banks and a board member of Franklin Select Realty Trust (part of the Franklin Templeton Group). Barry also served for seven years as Chairman of the Board of the San Jose Jet Center, Inc., a private aviation facility located at the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of J. Lohr Winery and is partner in J. Lohr Vineyards.
Rick brings more than 25 years of senior executive experience to the NES Financial board. He has served as an executive in technology sales, sales management, and general management for companies including First Data Corp, IBM, Electronic Arts, and Hitachi Data Systems. As a general manager, Rick managed a large multi-million dollar data center operation providing computer services to financial institutions in the western United States.
Tom is a senior executive with a 30-year track record of leading and transforming global technology companies. Currently President & CEO of Liquidmetal Technologies (OTC BB:LQMT), he is a proven, results-oriented leader with a history of maximizing earnings and building shareholder value. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Symmetricom, Inc. (Nasdaq: SYMM) from 1998 through 2009, Tom led this 1100-employee public corporation through a strategic transformation from a technology holding company model into an advanced telecommunications hardware centered business. Prior to Symmetricom, he was the Vice President and General Manager of Broadband Data Networks at Scientific-Atlanta, Inc., a leading manufacturer of cable television, communications, and broadband equipment.
Mike brings to NES Financial more than 30 years of experience in driving private and public high-tech companies to become among the leaders in their markets. Currently, he serves on boards for Dialogic (NASDAQ: DLGC) deCarta and Right Hemisphere, which was acquired by SAP in September 2011. Previously he served as chairman for Extreme Networks (NASDAQ: EXTR) and held executive positions with telecommunication companies such as VINA Technologies, Octel Communications, and Rolm Corporation.
