JTC Group acquired NES Financial in 2020, positioning JTC Americas as the leading provider of third-party administrative solutions to U.S. impact investment sectors, including the Opportunity Zones initiative and the EB-5 Program, as well as to private equity fund managers and 1031 exchange participants. Reid Thomas

Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director
Reid is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Specialty Financial Administration business unit. To this role he brings decades of leadership experience in both public and private companies, primarily in high-growth Silicon Valley technology companies. Reid has been instrumental in the rapid growth of the company's EB-5 and Opportunity Zone businesses, working to develop the purpose-built software solutions and dedicated client services teams, which have propelled the company into leadership positions in both industries.
Reid actively contributes to both the EB-5 and Opportunity Zone communities as a writer and as a speaker at events and conferences across the country. In 2018, he received IIUSA's "Industry Game Changer" award for his visionary work in the EB-5 space. Izak Joubert

Group Chief Technology Officer
Izak has over 25 years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise software solutions. He has extensive experience in large commercial software solutions in the ERP, CRM, B2B, and EAI sectors. Prior to joining JTC Americas, he was VP Engineering and Chief Architect for H Corporation where he was responsible for the overall architecture, technical design, and product strategy for all their products. Izak is well versed in several technologies including Microsoft .NET, relational database technologies including HTML, DHTML, XML, and Javascript as well as Web-services working with the latest published W3C standards. He has worked with several large organizations, including Stanford University Graduate School of Business, Cisco Systems, Intel, AMD, Flextronics, HP, and KLA Tencor.

Wouter Plantenga

ICS Head of Group Client Services
Wouter joined JTC in 2018 as ICS Head of Group Client Services to strengthen JTC’s US strategy. He has nearly 20 years’ experience, the majority of this time being in the US, in cross-border and transatlantic financial services with extensive knowledge of the North American market.
Having worked for multiple large corporate and trust service providers throughout his career, Wouter gained extensive experience with assisting US based alternative investment funds, financial institutions and multinational companies with delivering bespoke service solutions. Before joining JTC, Wouter held the position of Managing Director at Intertrust overseeing both operational as well as multiple business development teams in the US.
Wouter is primarily based in Miami and New York and sits on JTC’s ICS Global board. Wouter is also a Dutch trained corporate lawyer.

Jill Jones

General Counsel - Legal
Having been directly involved in over 350 EB-5 projects and as a former member of the IIUSA Board of Directors, Jill brings to JTC Americas extensive experience working with Regional Centers, developers, and securities law professionals. Jill is uniquely skilled at efficiently structuring subscription escrows for EB-5 development projects and is highly regarded throughout the EB-5 market sector. A licensed attorney in the state of Texas, Jill’s background includes over 10 years of title, escrow, and 1031 exchange experience.

Michael Richards

Group Head of Institutional Services
Michael Richards has brought an impressive investment skillset to JTC Americas after nearly 18 years at State Street, where he built his reputation in hedge fund and private equity fund administration within their Alternative Investment Solutions division. There, Michael was responsible for a large global team servicing top institutional fund sponsors and LP customers with a broad spectrum of alternative investment product types. His background in alternative fund administration and financial reporting with leading private equity fund sponsors has enhanced JTC Americas’ approach to complex accounting transactions, automation, financial and investor reporting, and is bolstering their rapidly expanding presence in the private equity fund administration space.

Harold Patch

Head of Fund Administration
Harold Patch is the Head of Fund Administration at JTC Americas, where he’s responsible for all Fund Administration execution in North America. In this role, he oversees all aspects of investor onboarding and servicing, fund accounting and financial reporting for our private equity, real estate and opportunity zone clients. Harold brings over 17 years of experience to this position and having run the day to day operations of the fund administration team since joining the company, he has been instrumental in the success of JTC Americas.
Prior to joining JTC Americas, Harold was a Vice President at State Street in the Alternative Investment Solutions division. During his time there, Harold held a variety of fund accounting and financial reporting roles for hedge fund and private equity fund clients.

Dawn Shuster

Head of Client Services
With over 24 years of financial transaction administration experience, Dawn leads JTC Americas' fund administration and Client Services operations. Dawn’s background managing Client Service and cash processing / treasury teams for a line of business of JPMorgan Chase and subsequently with JTC Americas, gives the company unique capabilities in high volume fund administration transaction processing. Responsible for over $85 billion of annual transaction volume, Dawn helps define internal fund administration and Client Service process automation. She is also responsible for managing ongoing Business Continuity planning and annual external SSAE 16 audits of the JTC Americas operation.

Lou van Dyk

Vice President, Information Technology
Responsible for all facets of information technology utilization at JTC Americas, Lou drives IT strategy, Business Continuity, information systems, infrastructure, security, telecommunications, applications, and support. With over 20 years of IT experience, Lou’s background includes infrastructure architecture and design, ERP systems, database clustering, software design and development, virtualization technologies, project management, disaster recovery, and Business Continuity. Lou has worked effectively in both large and small company environments with companies such as Intel, Flextronics, Solectron, Extreme Networks, Palm, GE, and Bio-Rad.

Laura Kelly

Vice President, Marketing
With 20 years of strategic marketing experience in the financial and high-tech industry, Laura leads the marketing strategy and execution for JTC Americas’ marketing. Prior to joining JTC Americas, Laura spent eight years at VISA where she led marketing consulting to their top 25 financial institution clients to launch, promote, and drive sales of all VISA products. Laura has held senior marketing positions at both financial and high-tech companies, including Business Objects, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, and Pickett Communications. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Cloud State University and has an MBA from the University of Saint Thomas.
